Date Nut Bars
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup honey
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chopped dates
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 pan.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a medium-sized bowl. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into pan, spreading evenly. Bake until golden about 20 - 25 minutes.
